Getting started
From your first selfie to your first portrait.
Create an account, upload one clear selfie, choose a race, class and vibe, and we render a free preview portrait. It usually takes a couple of minutes; you'll get an email when it's ready.
Choosing a photo
- One face, clearly lit — daylight near a window is ideal.
- Looking toward the camera, no sunglasses or low hats.
- Avoid heavy filters; they fight the likeness.
- JPEG, PNG and iPhone HEIC photos are all accepted.
Selfie pools
Each person you create art for has a selfie pool. Add a few photos to a pool and every future portrait for that person uses them, so you never re-upload.
